I think this blog will be my last blog to tell about my exeperiences in SEA Teacher in Cebu Philippines. Huhuhu, so sad to know this fact 😢but.... yeah this is the fact about that.

Summary and Suggestions

During i have done one month of my practicum, i got more experiences espeacially for myself. This time i will tell to you reader.

1.1   Purposes of practicum.

The SEA Teacher project is a project that aims to provide opportunity for pre-service student teachers from universities Southeast Asia to have teaching experiences in school in other countries in Southeast Asia.

For me, purpose of my practicum is to practice my teaching skills in School and practice the lesson i have learned during in college. And to improve my teaching skills in speaking english and make me know how about school life in other countries in Southeast Asia.

1.2   Procedures of practicum

SEA Teacher project has one month period. The one month period id divided into first week is orientation  week, second week is observation week, third week is teaching assistant week and fourth week is student teacher week.

1.3   Outcome of practicum

• I am more confident when teaching in class.
• I became know how to teaching and organizing in class.
• I get more knowledge espeacially about education from my CT
• My speaking english skills improved.
• I became know about curriculum and how to make teaching plan in Philippines

1.4   The challenges of practicum

My challenges of practicum during one month is when i wanna get communication with student or teacher in school or other people i have to use speaking english. When i know my ability of speaking english is not good but i really wanna comunication with them thats my time to improve my confident espeacially about speaking english.

1.5   Overall impression

I have big fear before i go through my practium or before i go to Philippines. I think, i will get trouble in Philippines but i was wrong, big wrong. why ? because all people in USJ-R my host school are kind, friendly, helpul when i need somenthing for my practicum and  they are always smile when we met each other. For students, they are very polite where we are. They are always say hi or good morning/afternoon teacher when we met. I felt so soft. I really enjoy my one month of practicum in USJ-R Basak Campus,Philippines.

1.6   Suggestions for futere improvement

From me to SEA Teacher project , i wish this project is not only for three Countries (Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines) in Southeast Asia but all countries in Southeast Asia and i wish this project is possible for Indonesian major department .
